Dr. Anupa Joshipura

Dr Anupa Joshipura is a leading pediatric hematologist and oncologist of Ahmedabad. She is an expert at diagnosing and curing childhood blood disorders and cancers.


She is well trained and experienced in administering standard hematological and oncological treatments, based on latet interanational guidelines. She provides holistic care for children undergoing chemotherapy, ensuring that their physical, emotional and hygiene needs are well taken care of.


Her area of expertise includes Benign(Non-cancerous) childhood blood ailments like anemia, thalassemia, hemophilia and other rare blood disorders. She is also an experienced clinician and diagnostician in treating Childhood Cancers like leukemias(blood cancer), lymphomas, sarcomas and various other solid organ tumours.

EXPERIENCE
  • Dr Anupa Joshipura completed MD(Pediatrics) from VS Hospital, Ahmedabad in 2013. Since then, she has been actively involved in training for the best care for patients with hemato-oncological concerns. She trained in BJ Wadia Children Hospital, Mumbai as a Fellow of Indian Academy of Pediatrics(FIAP) during the years 2013-2015. She obtained valuable experience during her stint at MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, USA in 2017. Since 2015, she has been practicing as an independent pediatric oncology consultant at HCG Cancer Center, Ahmedabad. She is available for OPD consultations, indoor referrals and emergency services at a number of Pediatric Referral and Intensive Care Units across the state of Gujarat. She provides her services to the peripheral areas via Shanku's hospital, Mehsana.
  • She is an active member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics and IAP-PHO, delivering numerous lectures and hosting and participating in seminars meant to create awareness among doctors and general population. She has been an invited faculty at a large number of conferences across the country, including Mumbai, Surat, Baroda, Delhi and Ahmedabad. She is actively involved in training the next generation of oncologists, through a comprehensive DNB resident program at HCG Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad.
